Project52 Tools ("we", "us", "our") provides free online utilities at www.project52.xyz. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, your rights, and how to contact us.
1. Data Controller
The data controller responsible for your personal data is Project52, operated by an individual developer. If you have questions about how your data is processed, contact us at biz.project52@gmail.com.
2. Data We Collect
2.1 Tool Inputs (Client-Side Tools)
Most tools run entirely in your browser. Files and text you provide are processed locally on your device and are never sent to our servers. We do not have access to this data.
2.2 Tool Inputs (Server-Side Tools)
A small number of tools (e.g., PDF compression) require server-side processing. In these cases, uploaded files are transmitted to our server, used only to perform the requested operation, and automatically deleted within 1 hour after processing. We do not store, review, or share these files beyond the processing step.
2.3 Automatically Collected Data
- Server logs: IP address, user agent, referrer URL, and timestamps. These are retained for up to 90 days for security and abuse prevention, then deleted.
- Analytics data: We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our site (pages visited, tools used, session duration). This data is collected only after you provide consent via our cookie banner.
